Tobewell

Focus, meditate, and reclaim your attention.

Effective date: May 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Tobewell (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App on iOS. We've kept it short and human.

Summary

Tobewell is a focus and meditation app — your daily practice for monk mode. We keep your practice data on your device. We don't run servers that store it, and we don't have an account system.

Information stored on your device

When you use Tobewell, the following data is stored locally on your device:

  • Your sessions, streaks, and progress.
  • Your reminders, schedules, and notification preferences.
  • App preferences such as theme, sounds, and selected practices.

If you enable iCloud sync, this data may sync to your other Apple devices through your private iCloud container. iCloud is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Audio content

Guided sessions, ambient sounds, and voice tracks are delivered from our content servers. When the App fetches a track, our server receives standard network metadata (such as IP address and device type) needed to deliver the audio. We do not link these requests to a personal identity.

Tobewell plays audio locally on your device. We do not record or transmit audio from your microphone.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, Tobewell schedules local reminders on your device (for example, daily practice reminders). These notifications are generated locally — we do not see when they fire and we do not send them from our servers.

You can revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings → Tobewell → Notifications.

Health data

Tobewell does not read from or write to Apple Health unless a future version explicitly requests permission, which you would have to grant. If health integration is added, this policy will be updated and the App will ask for your consent through the standard iOS Health permission prompt.

Analytics and diagnostics

We may use a privacy-focused analytics SDK to measure anonymous, aggregated usage of features (such as which practices are most started). Analytics events do not include identifying information.

If you opt in to share diagnostics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not require an account, email, or phone number.
  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not show third-party ads.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.

In-app purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions and unlocks are processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. We never receive or store your payment information. Apple shares only the minimum purchase status needed to unlock features.

Children

Tobewell is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your rights

You can reset your progress, clear your data, or delete the App at any time. Deleting the App removes all locally stored practice data. iCloud-synced data can be removed from iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
