Social GPT

Social GPT is an AI assistant that helps you write captions, replies, and messages. To do this, the App sends the text you provide to AI model providers and returns the generated result. We keep the amount of data we handle as small as possible.

When you ask the App to generate or rewrite text, the following is sent to our AI model providers for processing:

• The prompt or text you typed or pasted.
• Settings you chose for that request (such as tone, language, length).
• A non-identifying request ID used to debug failures.

Do not paste sensitive information (passwords, financial details, private identifiers) into the App. Treat your prompts the way you would treat any text you would paste into a web service.

Generated responses are produced by third-party AI providers (for example, OpenAI and/or Anthropic). When you submit a prompt, that prompt is transmitted to the provider over an encrypted connection.

These providers process your prompt to generate a response. Under their current terms for API access, prompts submitted through our API integration are not used to train their models. Please review their policies for the most up-to-date details:

Your prompt history, favorite outputs, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, this data may sync to your other Apple devices through your private iCloud container.

Deleting the App removes all of this local data.

We may use a privacy-focused analytics SDK to understand which features are used and to detect crashes. Where used, analytics are aggregated and do not include the contents of your prompts.

If you opt in to share diagnostics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may also send us anonymous crash reports.

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not require an account or your email address.
• We do not use your prompts to train any model we control.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Paid features and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple shares only the minimum purchase status needed to unlock features.

Social GPT is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

You can clear your local prompt history at any time inside the App, or remove all data by deleting the App. If you have questions about data held by our AI providers, contact those providers directly using the links above.

If we make material changes (for example, adding a new AI provider), we will update the effective date and the relevant sections. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
